TBS skirmish exp and rewards are so much more than normal PVE. Got this char to 121 with minimal grinding thru TBS skirmish and missions within a few weeks.
Here's a guide on how to do fast skirmishes for those who need it:
Secret Outpost 1x Mob ~30sec
2m exp total, ~235k exp to all mercs
Secret Outpost 3x Mob ~2mins
6.8m exp total, ~790k exp to all mercs
Skirmishes go fast with 4-5 ranged mercs. Setup your formation to have ranged mercs 1st, melee 2nd, staff last. This is to minimize merc selection when attacking so you can just left click away. Position all ranged mercs to be in range from first round (ex. in Secret Outpost I place bows in front) so you can deal damage with them from the start.
Depending on your gear pick the skirmish fastest for you. I've done skirmish from 35 on this char and normal PVE is just too slow compared to skirmish. Plus all mercs get exp no matter who kills just keep them alive.
